About Alida

Alida is a qualified member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, specialising mainly in paediatric nutrition as well as working with sports enthusiasts and the elderly.

A mum of 3, Alida, saw the positive effects of nutrition first hand when a change in diet and some targeted supplements turned her young daughter’s life around. She was convinced and keen to know more, so she spent 3 years studying for a diploma in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.

Alida specialises mainly in paediatric nutrition, helping children like her young daughter overcome their health issues to become happy healthy little people but she welcomes everyone, not just the little ones. Alida uses an evidence-based approach to create plans that are simple but effective.

She also enjoys supporting those needing additional help with their sports nutrition. Alida can provide nutrition advice from a functional medicine perspective, helping with performance and injury reduction, as well as maintaining a healthy mental state.

Alida also has a special interest in supporting geriatric health and those people with neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson’s disease, Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. She provides individual nutrition advice to those going through their twilight years which can help them retain their dignity during challenging times.

Private consultations are available either in person in Fulham, London or online via Skype.
